Maps of Hate Crime Data in Los Angeles County, 2003 – 2019

The hate crime data collected by LACCHR and provided to UCLA researchers include obfuscated X and Y coordinates. In 2020, researchers at UCLA created maps of hate crimes that included hate crime motivation, race of victim and suspect, and gang affiliated hate or crimes with white supremacist motivations. Additional maps also include hotspot mapping and maps that layer hate crimes with spacial demographic data. A PDF of these maps is available to view and download below.
